Yes, we have a uniform that you have to buy, but the association will help you with that.

The South Sound Umpires Association (SSUA) is a group of umpires that work in the Mason and Thurston county. We cover 16 high schools. We strive to provide an excellent officiating experience promoting safety, fairness and a fun environment for the student-athletes we serve.

Our members experience go from day one baseball umpires to college level umpires. We have many former college umpires and many current college umpires workin for the association.

Umpiring is a great way to stay involved in the game. It is a great way to give back to the community and get a little money to. Each year we send 2 to 3 umpires to work state level games. If you have any interest in umpiring at the college level we can help.
